Jenna is a compassionate lawyer whose practice focuses on family law and child protection law. Jenna takes pride in guiding her clients through the legal process with care and empathy and always hopes to make a meaningful impact on their lives.
While studying at Dalhousie Schulich School of Law, Jenna was elected as Vice President Academic where she acted as a voice for the students during faculty meetings. Jenna also volunteered for the Tenants’ Rights Program at Dalhousie Legal Aid and participated in the Nova Scotia Supreme Court (Family Division) placement.
Jenna’s commitment to her practice is evident through her involvement in professional organizations. She was previously an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association Child and Youth Law Section, where she provided input on law and policy developments affecting Canadian children. Currently, Jenna serves as a board member of the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia, where she is involved in research, revision, and reform relating to public access to the law.
Fun facts about Jenna include: she is a black belt in Taekwon-Do, she is a veteran of the Canadian Naval Reserves, she played for Chelsea Women FC in England, she captained the University of New Hampshire’s women’s soccer team to their first championship in school history, and she ran the 2023 London, England Marathon to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis.
