Kelsey is a member of our family law team at Conrad Dillon Robinson Law. Since her admission to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2014, Kelsey has practiced exclusively in the area of Family Law and Child Protection. In Child Protection cases, Kelsey represents Guardian Ad-Litems appointed to be the voice of children in court.
Kelsey was born and raised in the Halifax area. While attending Law School at Dalhousie University, Kelsey spent three years running a volunteer program that provided legal guidance to immigrants and refugees at Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia through Pro Bono Students Canada. Additionally, Kelsey spent a semester of Law School gaining practical experience in the area of Family Law through the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic.
Since becoming a lawyer, Kelsey has served on a number of committees with the Supreme Court (Family Division) including the E-Court Advisory Committee and the COVID-19 Response Committee for Child Protection cases. In 2020, Kelsey volunteered with the National Canadian Lawyers’ initiative, providing pro bono legal advice to family law clients in response to access to justice issues. Kelsey has also presented at a Family Law Conference on behalf of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Nova Scotia Family Law Section.
Kelsey joined Conrad Dillon Robinson in March 2020. Prior to working with Conrad Dillon Robinson Law, Kelsey articled with a Family Law firm in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and worked as an associate at that firm for a total of five years.
In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys cooking, travelling, going on hikes with her dog, Lenny, and spending time with her family.
